“Great Instrument Makers” is a celebration of the legendary musical instruments that have passed through the hands of superstars and brought our favorite music to life. The master artisans who toiled for years to perfect their craft with these now-immortal instruments – Gibson, Rickenbacker, Steinway, Stradivarius, Selmer, etc. – all started from obscurity, but they would go on to leave a permanent mark on music history. The story of their ascent and of the rock stars and virtuosos who made these instruments their own (literally bringing them onto the world stage) is the story of the music that has brought joy to millions.
